Osees live at Warsaw by Tommy Krause
On Friday and Saturday, Osees made their annual trip back to NYC with two shows at Warsaw in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This time, they brought their pal Bridgid Dawson with them and a fantastic set that was packed with old-school Osees classics.
Osees hit the stage around 9pm, tearing through wild renditions of “I Come From the Mountain” and ‘Plastic Plant,”which made the room absolutely explode. As frontman John Dwyer and Brigid yelped and convulsed, and their double drummers Paul Quattrone and Dan Rincon charged through barbarically, Osees proved yet again that they are truly one of the best out there doin’ the damn thing.
Occult’s Tommy Krause was there to capture the glory of Night 1 (Friday 10/23)—
